I’ve been writing online for about 17 years, and now with my own site, I get the upside of controlling all my own content,  presentation, and associations, and the downside of figuring out how to do the tech aspects, pay for it, etc.

You may have noticed that I cite a lot of books, and recommend a lot of books, all related to my areas of interest. If you’ve ever made it to the bottom of one of my posts, you’ve probably seen my copy/paste boilerplate text about GoFundMe and Amazon affiliates; that is, all the book titles I recommend are affiliate links through Amazon and I may earn a small percentage of purchases made through those links.

In the future, the bottom boilerplate will read a little differently.

As always, you can help me pay my tuition here via GoFundMe. *I am an Amazon Affiliate, and may receive a small percentage of purchases made through Amazon links on this page. You can get updates by email whenever a post goes up (subscription box below) and can also follow Benjamin the Scribe on Facebook.

Also in the future, each Amazon affiliate link will be preceded by some kind of short identification notice required by the FTC, probably something like

Philip Barlow’s volume [ad link] Mormons and the Bible was the first volume to explore LDS hermeneutics.

I’ll also be working my way through the backlog to update past posts to be in compliance with Amazon and FTC requirements.

Thanks for reading
